Canella beach (Canedda in Corsican) is situated between Solenzara and Porto Vecchio in Southern Corsica. This beautiful bay, which is visible from the road, can be accessed via a path through "Dolce Vita".

Canella Beach is a real peaceful haven. Its water is many shades of blue, with turquoise predominant! Its large sand bar allows you to wade almost 50 metres out to sea. The children will be delighted, and safe.

Around the bay, you can admire ocher rocks plunging into the sea. Canella beach is narrow and warm, inviting you to relax in an intimate setting, on warm, white sand facing a turquoise sea.

> TRAVO and SOLENZARA RIVERS


The source of the Travo river (Travu in Corsican) is found in the canton of Zicavo, in central Corsica. The river flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east, between Solaris and Ventiseri. Travo river is an ideal place for experienced kayakers. This characterful river will delight lovers of Corsica with its clear water, in shades ranging from green to blue.

Solenzara River is also recommended. Its source is in Col de Bavella and it flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east, between Aléria and Porto Vecchio. A real jewel, set into a magnificent landscape, Solenzara river has waterfalls to offer, with natural pools of clear water.

The Aiguilles de Bavella (Bavella Needles) mountain range is a mecca for hikers and lovers of canyoning in Corsica. The Bavella mountain range peaks at an altitude of 1899m and hikers on the famous GR 20 pass by at its foot.
