> "COTE DES NACRES"

As La Bergerie is situated in Sainte Lucie de Porto Vecchio, you will be very close to Côte des Nacres, which lies between Solenzara and Porto Vecchio. Its coastline is dotted with intimate coves and golden beaches. Côte des Nacres (the Coast of Pearls), takes its name from a shell which used to be found on its coastline. > LECCI SAINT-CYPRIEN BEACH

Lecci Saint Cyprien beach is located 10km North of Porto-Vecchio. An idyllic setting: this white sand beach awaits you in its warm, pristine position, facing a turquoise sea which is just as enjoyable! From Lecci beach, you can admire the view of the neighbouring peninsula.

> CANELLA BAY

Canella beach (Canedda in Corsican) is situated between Solenzara and Porto Vecchio in Southern Corsica. This beautiful bay, which is visible from the road, can be accessed via a path through "Dolce Vita".

Canella Beach is a real peaceful haven. Its water is many shades of blue, with turquoise predominant! Its large sand bar allows you to wade almost 50 metres out to sea. The children will be delighted, and safe.

Around the bay, you can admire ocher rocks plunging into the sea. Canella beach is narrow and warm, inviting you to relax in an intimate setting, on warm, white sand facing a turquoise sea.

> FAUTEA BEACH

Fautea beach is located near Sainte Lucie de Porto Vecchio, close to La Bergerie de Cervoniccia. You will enjoy the warm sand and turquoise sea at the heart of a romantic cove. Fautea beach is dominated by a Genoese watchtower, which gives the area a unique look, worthy of the most beautiful postcards. Fautea is a natural jewel and a must-see destination for your holiday in Southern Corsica.

> PINARELLO BEACH

Along with Palombaggia, Pinarello beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. Pinarello has a worldwide reputation. Its white sand and the quality of its bathing water is unique. The 2 km long beach is bordered by a forest of parasol pines. Pinarello beach welcomes large numbers of Southern Corsican holidaymakers. Its beauty makes it an ideal place to discover for anyone who loves the sea, swimming and lazing in the lovely Corsican sun.

> PALOMBAGGIA BEACH

Like Pinarello, Palombaggia beach is a jewel of the Corsican coast. It is situated close to Porto Vecchio, to the east of Picovaggia peninsula along the Tyrrhenian Sea. A beach known throughout the world, Palombaggia welcomes you to an idyllic environment where parasol pines and red rocks surround a long stretch of pristine white sand lapped by a clear turquoise sea. It is difficult to find words to describe such beauty. We therefore advise you to discover this magnificent beach for yourself. It is within walking distance of the road to the south-east of Porto Vecchio.

> TRAVO and SOLENZARA RIVERS

The source of the Travo river (Travu in Corsican) is found in the canton of Zicavo, in central Corsica. The river flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east, between Solaris and Ventiseri. Travo river is an ideal place for experienced kayakers. This characterful river will delight lovers of Corsica with its clear water, in shades ranging from green to blue.

Solenzara River is also recommended. Its source is in Col de Bavella and it flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east, between Aléria and Porto Vecchio. A real jewel, set into a magnificent landscape, Solenzara river has waterfalls to offer, with natural pools of clear water.

> PORTO VECCHIO TOWN

Porto Vecchio, Corsica's third largest city, is located southeast of the Ile de Beauté beside the Tyrrhenian Sea between Aleria and Bonifacio. The town of Porto Vecchio , as well as its surrounding area, are a stronghold of summer tourism in Corsica.A seaside resort par excellence, the region of Porto-Vecchio attracts holidaymakers from around the world thanks to its coastline and dream beaches with fine sand. Home to nearly 10,000 inhabitants in winter, Porto Vecchio welcomes millions of visitors every summer. Its citadel, marina, hinterland and history are also to be discovered.

> "AIGUILLES DE BAVELLA"

The Aiguilles de Bavella (Bavella Needles) mountain range is a mecca for hikers and lovers of canyoning in Corsica. This steep mountain chain connects the western to the eastern side of Corsica and is located in the hinterland of Porto-Vecchio. The Bavella mountain range peaks at an altitude of 1899m and hikers on the famous GR 20 pass by at its foot. Purcaraccia stream, with its magnificent waterfalls and natural pools, is an ideal place for canyoning.
